Third Level (3A)

The class takes place over three days. This level is for those who are sure they wish to continue working profoundly with Reiki but who may not be certain that they wish to commit to becoming a teaching Reiki Master.

At 3A advanced theories and applications of Reiki are taught which can be used for personal growth and in treatments for others.

The student receives a traditional Master's initiation which in itself has a dramatic affect on the student´s personal growth and life awareness. The first initiation used in Reiki Level 1, which we call the heart attunement, is taught. This enables the 3A student to experience the joy of being able to initiate/attune someone to Reiki, creating for that person not only the experience of having and using Reiki, which is a temporary phenomenon at this point, but also initiating them to higher levels of awareness. All aspects of initiation/attunement are thoroughly discussed and practised.

Once in touch with this level of Reiki students are able to make a decision with clarity whether or not to become a Reiki Master. In The Reiki Network, all Reiki Master trainees will have done this third level.

Master Level

Requirements
Prerequisites

  • Reiki training to Third Level (3A) with The Reiki Network or its equivalent.
  • Extensive practical usage of Reiki with results that can be verified.
  • Satisfy the Reiki Master Teacher that the candidate is sincerely using Reiki in their life and will be a good ambassador for Reiki.

Generally, training takes place over a minimum period of 12 months to allow time for each Initiation to have full effect on the relative Chakra. This helps to ensure that the student will be ready to give effective, permanent Initiations in seminars immediately after graduating.

The Students must learn all the Initiations for first and second level Reiki spread over that period of training. Each Initiation is different in practice, focus and intent.

There are four First Level Initiations and one Second Level initiation.

The Students must satisfy the Master Teacher that they can teach seminars in first and second level Reiki to a standard that would be commensurate with the general standard found in The Reiki Network.

One of the important aspects of the role of a Master is to be able to impart a good understanding and appreciation of Reiki. The Network feels that is it not sufficient to simply train a Master to be able to initiate students to Reiki. We therefore require that the Students prove their ability to impart that knowledge to the Master Teacher conducting the training.

This can be done in whatever form is mutually suitable to both parties. The Students should present lectures on all aspects of the two levels of Reiki either orally directly to the Master, or recorded on cassette or video. The various aspects are covered systematically as a set of assignments.

The Reiki Master Teacher will be responsible for giving Students constructive feedback designed to develop and enhance their skills. If necessary, the Students may be asked to repeat each assignment until they reach the required standard.

Further lectures are also given on Reiki philosophy, the practicals of teaching and running seminars, managing co-ordinators, advertising and ethics.

The Master Training fee is based on US$10.000 with each country in the RN using their currency exchange rate vis-a-vis the US$ as October 2000 as the foundation rate. From then increasing annually by an appropriate cost of living index. The RMT may accept its energy equivalent. For the actual amount, ask a local Reiki Master Teacher.

Master Teacher Level

Master Teachers are appointed by other Master Teachers in The Reiki Network at their discretion and only after they have met certain minimum requirements.

Master Teacher may not commence training others as teachers until they, themselves, have ample experience at teaching Reiki.

Aspiring Master Teachers should also demonstrate that they can inspire students to go on to the higher levels of Reiki (at least to 3A) . This will also demonstrate their detachment from ego as they ask their own students to train with another Master Teacher.

These are transcripts only. The original text in the teacher’s manual is binding.
